The model is equipped with a classic rotary cutting system consisting of two bladed knives with three rotating blades. The cutting width of about 22 cm allows for easy maneuvering between flowerbeds, paths, trees, and other obstacles. The robot is guided by a perimeter restriction wire with a total length of 250 m.

The cable is to be fastened using the included 300 stakes. The Flymo UltraLife 1500 is equipped with schedule support, impact, tilt, and lift sensors. To prevent theft, the lawnmower can be locked by setting a PIN code. The model is powered by a 2.1 Ah battery with an approximate autonomy of 50 minutes. Charging the battery is automatic — the robot returns to the base by itself when the battery level is low.
