The power supply is located very unusually :) It is not at the back, but at the front of the case, at the back everything is given to the motherboard. But the power cable is still connected at the back. There is no room for 5-inch devices at all. This only made me happy; I haven’t used disks for several years now. But if it’s critical for you, then buy another case or an external drive. But there are plenty of places for hard drives; you can put six of them in at once. Everything is logical, access to components is not difficult at all. There are, however, some nuances with the laying of wires, but this is due to the small size of the case itself and is not critical. I really liked the case. Appearance, equipment. Yes, in order to fit the power supply and video card that I want, I will have to modify it a little to move the power supply closer to the right wall, but I don’t consider this a disadvantage. I want to reassure those who read the reviews in which they scolded disgusting screws, licked edges, scratched hands. If you don’t have a quality tool, or don’t know how to use it, then why bother doing anything yourself. Who should be surprised? Decent wall thickness, very well-thought-out arrangement, removable mesh filters on the vents. Possibility of installing a powerful graphics card and 6 HDDs! Overall, plenty of room for creativity in a relatively small case. The white body is painted glossy, which makes it a bit forgiving. Of course, not all at once, the place inside is not rubber. However, it offers rare versatility, from a NAS server with a bunch of hard drives to a powerful gaming PC with a long graphics card, based on a single chassis. The second success factor for the NODE 304 is its serious approach to cooling. The user receives a finished product with a trinity of already installed coolers with hydraulic bearings. Changing them to something cooler is only if the user is a fan of the complete noiselessness of PC components. Although without unnecessary manipulations, NODE 304 turned out to be extremely quiet. Slightly larger and heavier than competitors
How did they manage to do all this? The casket is easy to open, the case is slightly higher and wider than usual among barebone models. For example, it is 3 cm taller, 2 cm wider and 2.5 kg heavier than the popular SilverStone SG13. We don’t know how anyone, but it seems to us that these extra centimeters were worth it. Finding out that the purchased power supply does not fit into the case due to the fact that the power cables rest against the motherboard heatsink is a real pain. Therefore, only small things like tight screws for HDD cages can be considered as shortcomings of NODE 304, and the price tag is almost twice as high as that of other popular cases of this format. However, the price here is justified by the quality of materials, build quality, nice design and a set of stock coolers.
