The shockproof and sealed model integrates a highly sensitive GPS receiver with HotFix technology to help you quickly acquire a satellite signal and maintain data reception. It also includes a trip computer with TracBack, sunrise/sunset display, multiple on-screen display options, and a USB interface for PC connection. The 401 is additionally equipped with a barometric altimeter, a digital compass, is able to communicate with third-party GPS navigators, and works with Garmin pedometers and heart rate metres.
