Two Active Coolers
The model is designed in a restrained black style and equipped with a perforated mesh platform for placing a laptop. Two built-in coolers with a blade diameter of 125 mm each are responsible for active cooling. Both fans operate at a speed of about 1500 rpm.
Through USB Port
The coolers are powered through the laptop’s USB port. The connector is designed in a pass-through format, allowing the USB port to remain available for other devices. The fans operate almost silently — the noise level is only 10 dB, which is indistinguishable to the human ear.
LED Backlight
The restrained design of the Gembird NBS-2F15-05 is complemented by the LED backlight of the coolers with a soft blue glow. The bottom part of the case features adjustable elements to change the angle of the stand. The only drawback is the absence of stoppers for the laptop, causing the device to potentially slide when tilted strongly.
