Ultra-compact keyboard

Genius SlimStar 126 is a relatively inexpensive office keyboard, the main features of which are its small thickness and compact body. Although the model is full-size, due to the barely noticeable side frames, it turned out to be more compact than most office counterparts. The design looks really nice, is relatively well assembled and, most importantly, is sold at an affordable price.

Low profile model with extra keys

The design of the keyboard with a maximum of usable space provides both important multimedia keys and 4 additional ones, which are placed in a separate block in the upper right corner. They classically control playback (play/pause, no rewind) and volume. The keys themselves are low-lying and have a slight click when pressed, allowing you to type comfortably for the hands and ears of office colleagues. Even during long work or gaming sessions, the hands feel comfortable. It is quite convenient to work on it, and we have not found any significant disadvantages for the entire time of use.

Useful Smart Genius App

An important difference between this model and its competitors is the proprietary Smart Genius application. Usually manufacturers of office peripherals do not indulge us with such software. It is clear that this is not a super-fancy command centre in the spirit of Razer or Corsair gaming keyboards, but the thing is still useful. You can start simple, reassign a few function keys for yourself, register full-fledged macros (note: multiple key combinations) on some unnecessary function keys, or choose a ready-made keyboard profile for some game or work application. All popular office suites from Microsoft and Google, Evernote, software from Adobe and a lot more are supported. The set of presets is constantly updated and is divided into several categories for convenience.
