Affordable and compact desktop stereo computer speakers with USB power, various plastic housing colors and analog input. Positioned as a product of the base price category of 2023. In addition to an affordable price, they are distinguished by their compact size and modest weight of only 400 g. They are equipped with a built-in power amplifier (peak 2x3W, nominal 2x1.5W), which is enough to sound a small room.

Genius SP-Q160 computer speakers are designed for a wide range of budget-conscious users who need a compact stereo speaker system to output sound from a personal computer, monoblock, nettop or laptop. The built-in volume control is located on the rear panel of one of the speakers; tone control is not provided. The speakers are equipped with an analog input with a 3-pin miniJack 3.5mm connector on a non-detachable cable.

It is also worth noting that for normal operation of the device, a USB connection is required for power supply in 5V / 1A mode (a separate non-removable cable). The speakers do not require the installation of drivers or any other software. According to the manufacturer, dynamic radiators provide correct reproduction of the frequency range from 150 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The bass range is weak, but, in general, this sound is enough for listening to pop music, watching movies and acoustic design of computer games.

Excellent speakers, about six months have passed since their purchase, and during this time I have already formed some idea about the pros and cons of these same speakers. Firstly, as an advantage, I note that despite the small dimensions of the speakers themselves, quiet sound does not come out of them. On the contrary, it comes out voluminous, clear and audible. The design didn't disappoint either. But the only downside I’ll note is that the wire is not very long.

The speakers are excellent, I've been using them for almost a year now, I'm happy with their performance. I was afraid that the sound would be bad because they were small, but my fears were in vain. Everything is fine, it sounds good and loud. The computer has standard settings; you can slightly adjust the sound. I often move them further away from the table, so I need a lot of cord, and I don't quite have enough. You have to move the entire system unit or reconnect the wire. Overall, these speakers are great for the price.
