Model overview based on user reviews
The Goodyear EfficientGrip tires are praised for their excellent handling on both dry and wet roads, with no aquaplaning and a short braking distance. They are noted for being quiet and fuel-efficient, offering good wear resistance and a long lifespan. However, some users find them slightly noisy and too soft, which can lead to issues on poor-quality roads. Despite these concerns, many appreciate their reasonable price and strong performance, making them a reliable choice for city driving. Overall, they are considered a good budget option with the added benefit of fuel savings.

worth taking, good tires aquaplaning is zero, brakes excellently on both dry and wet roads, and is quite soft. slightly noisy |
I recommend buying it for those who like a sedate ride. You will feel comfortable. I recently purchased these tires. I'm satisfied. They are soft, quiet, and absorb small bumps almost silently. They handle water excellently; I haven't experienced hydroplaning. I've tested them at various speeds (up to 200 km/h). They take turns easily, and braking is effective. Regarding potholes... if you hit them without thinking about the consequences, no tire will withstand it. I deliberately chose a 65 profile, although the original was 60, a bit higher; it gives me a better chance of avoiding the rim. And as for "good" potholes, only a bumper can save you, but they're only used on low-profile tires. Drive carefully, folks, and you’ll remain satisfied with this model. I haven't found any yet. |
What can I say, the tires are basically fine, but even on a road with a good surface, they make noise at any speed. If you turn the music up, you won't pay attention to the noise. The stiffness becomes apparent when you drive on uneven or dirt roads. At speed, you can drive into puddles without fear - aquaplaning is absent. Holds the road well both on dry and wet asphalt. No aquaplaning. The rubber is very hard and noisy. |
