The Hankook Kinergy 4S² year-round tyre is designed for use on passenger car wheels in European countries with mild winter climates. The “squared” model is designed to replace the development of 2014 — Hankook Kinergy 4S H740.

V-shaped design

The visible difference of the tyre from the original 4S is a completely redesigned tread pattern. For the first time, for the all-seasons of the South Korean brand, they used not an asymmetric, but a directional arrangement of functional blocks. The V-shaped design of the central tread segment of the tyre is made up of directional alternating blocks that are pierced horizontally with three-dimensional sipes.

Solid pluses

Rubber "squared" perfectly keeps dry and wet road surface, demonstrates confident traction on winter roads and shortened braking distances on snow. In addition, the model is characterized by the accuracy of reactions to steering commands. The tyre's drainage system prevents hydroplaning and quickly removes slush to the sides.

Winter wear indication

To assess the condition of the tyre, winter wear indicators WTWI(Winter Tread Wear Indicators) are provided. They help to quickly determine the safe residual tread height. The tyre wears out quickly, which is noted in various independent tyre tests. On all other fronts, the model receives completely positive ratings during the tests.
