The Hansgrohe Ecostat E 15773000 thermostatic shower mixer is part of the Ecostat range of sanitary ware, designed to comfortably maintain the temperature in the taps for water procedures. This is a premium quality device that is made in Germany and meets all EU environmental and safety standards. The device is designed for vertical wall mounting to the outlet pipes of the water supply using 2 outlets with S-shaped eccentrics, on which mud filters are installed. The mixer works normally at a pressure in the water supply from 1 to 10 bar and is great for an alliance with an instantaneous water heater. The device is equipped with a built-in water return valve and a noise absorber, thanks to which, regardless of the pressure, the water moves quietly through the internal channels.

The device features a practical rectangular shape without sharp edges and a central outlet for attaching the shower hose. The body of the device, made of brass alloy, uses the proprietary CoolContact cooling system, which allows it to remain cool to the touch at any water temperature. The chrome-plated surface of the tap with a matte finish is virtually scratch-resistant, making it easy to care for and clean. The body is slightly raised relative to the pipe axis and slightly overlaps the upper edge of the wall bowls that cover the pipe connection with a G 1/2 thread. The minimum flow rate, limited by the EcoStat button on the stop valve handle, is 9 L/min, and the maximum achievable water flow at a peak pressure of 10 bar is 28.6 L/min. The thermostat cartridge is equipped with a built-in safety limiter that sets the mixed water temperature threshold to 40 °C.
