Top sensor, ideal shape, healthy glides No additional black side buttons |
I bought the pulsar 2 pro wireless last year. Overall, it was an excellent mouse, but a couple of days ago, the sensor stopped tracking movements on the mouse pad. It works fine on a desk but doesn't register on the pad. I have no idea what happened to it, and unfortunately, I couldn't find the receipt to send it back. I decided to get the next version. As soon as I took it out and tried it, everything became clear. It looks the same visually, but it feels entirely different, except for the shape. It's much lighter, which to me is a downside. The main buttons make a strange sound when released, and they don't feel very good. The scroll wheel feels cheap; I can compare because I still have the old mouse as a reference, and it’s the same kind of wheel that broke down. The cable attachment is also tricky; it needs to be connected on the correct side, otherwise, it disconnects easily. Overall, comparing the old and new versions, I can say it's the same mouse but worse and cheaper in every aspect. If you want a good mouse, better stick with the previous model, which was truly "PRO." The new one feels like a cheap office mouse. The buttons and the wheel were the most disappointing; you could find the same quality in any office mouse. Comparing only with the last one, so it's nothing special. It's become much lighter, which I see as a downside. The main buttons make a strange sound when released, and they don't feel quite right. They've installed a cheap wheel, and I can compare because I still have an old mouse before this one, with the same kind, which eventually broke down. The cord is also quirky; it needs to be connected on the right side, or else it starts to disconnect. Overall, comparing the old and new, it's basically the same mouse, just worse and cheaper in every way. |

A very successful and cool mouse, the only thing missing is interchangeable black side buttons)
