Chose an acoustic system, relying on the reputation of the magazine autozvuk.com, and settled on this model. Connected it, "autozvuk" didn't deceive, the tweeters are garbage, so then a quite reasonable question arises, why the high rating??? Advertised acoustics!!! In the autozvuk.com magazine, the acoustics received almost the highest rating, with a small caveat... about tweeters. Tweeters are the main drawback of this acoustics. If you listen from a radio, you can take something cheaper with a nominal power >=60w Expected more They work from a Sony stereo 4*55, also connected to a Pioneer 4*100. Perhaps an amplifier is needed. For me, there's no "wow" effect compared to the standard VW Passat B4 where the suspension aged. The Italian brand Hertz is known for the production of high-quality car audio. So, the DSK 165.3 component speakers can offer good bass depth and balance of all other sound characteristics.
Popular size
The model is released in the popular 16.5 cm size. Its focus is on the V-cone profile cone made of cellulose with damping impregnation. To protect against external damage, the magnet is covered with a rubber cap, and the basket has a wear-resistant coating. The two-way crossover Hertz DSK 165.3 has outputs for midbass and a high-frequency tweeter with a 24 mm dome, which takes the very top.
Balanced Sound
Acoustics have excellent sensitivity to provide loud sound even with low-powered head units. And with proper installation measures, the speakers produce a clear and balanced sound in all registers. Distortions in the entire range of input power (80/160 W) are also not expected.
Compact tweeter
Of the minuses of Hertz DSK 165.3, an early overload of the tweeter is noted, which is due to the miniature size of the tweeter. It even looks smaller than it really is.
