For example, their Fighting Commander controller, created specifically for fans of fighting games (and, to a lesser extent, platformers), has become an interesting alternative to standard solutions. To control the character's movements, you can use either the 8-way D-pad or the analog stick with an octagonal limit located next to it. This gives users freedom of choice. However, Hori went further: in addition to this, the player can adjust the sensitivity of the D-pad, reassign the functions of the buttons, save separate settings profiles for different games (4 profiles in total), and quickly switch between them using a separate button on the central panel.
