HP Pavilion Power 15-cb000 [15-CB031UR 2LE38EA]

The HP Pavilion Power is sort of an evolution of the earlier Pavilion families. The laptop is equipped with performant iron, but at the same time office design.

Design

The case is made, with the exception of the space for the hands, of plastic. The lid and bottom are somewhat reminiscent of a soft touch, but the material is quite easily soiled. The laptop looks rather strict — for the office, but at the same time, the special design of the legs gives the style. When the display is open, it sort of lifts the laptop, you can see it more clearly in the photos, it looks unusual.

The keyboard has a small stroke, distinct pressing, in general, an excellent solution for work. Lighting is a nice bonus.

Iron

The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i5 7300HQ processor with a clock frequency of 2.5 GHz in conjunction with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 video accelerator with 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory. Yielding to competitors in performance, it wins due to battery life, as well as optimized heat dissipation. Throttling remains at a minimum level even under heavy loads

From the battery, the laptop can work for 8 hours at an average load, and fast charging can charge 90% of the battery in 90 minutes. This is quite enough to work and spend time on the Internet for leisure.

The amount of RAM is 8 GB DDR4 type and can be expanded up to 16 GB using two slots. For those who like to store everything at once on their laptop, the HDD with a capacity of 2 TB acts as a drive.

Screen

The screen is an AU Optronics AUO41ED matrix made using IPS technology and having Full HD resolution (1920x1080 px). The brightness of which is 240 cd / m2, and the contrast ratio is impressive 1350:1. The sRGB range is covered by 57%, and AdobeRGB — 38%, the presence of an anti-glare coating allows you to work comfortably in direct sunlight. In general, an excellent matrix for the whole range of everyday tasks.
