Model overview based on user reviews
The HP Pavilion 15-eh0000 is a reliable choice for office tasks, offering excellent performance with its hardware, especially for activities like managing websites and using AutoCAD. The SSD ensures quick loading times, and the laptop features a surprisingly good sound quality. The large touchpad allows for comfortable use without a mouse, and the metal case adds a premium feel. The battery life is decent, lasting around three hours under heavy use. However, some users noted a quiet crackling noise from the cooling system and a slightly sticky touchpad surface. The screen is good, though the brightness could be better, and the keyboard backlight might not be very visible on the light-colored body. Overall, it's a great option for those needing a dependable laptop for office work, with the added benefit of handling light gaming and design software.
Pros
Cons
I really like it, I feel that this laptop and I are in for the long haul. If you need a laptop for office work, it's a great choice, one of the best. Only Hearthstone from games. I highly recommend getting one with a metal case - the feel of using it is important. A plastic case creaks under pressure, cracks, bends, and looks cheap. Hardware, the laptop was purchased for arbitration, ad settings, managing websites, and other office tasks, and it handles them excellently. SSD is excellent, everything loads quickly, attached a screenshot of the speed test when the browser and a couple of programs are open. Don't worry about the speed, it's more than enough. Surprisingly good sound. A friend has a 13-inch Xiaomi from 2 years ago, and the sound is much quieter and worse. The touchpad is large, now I work without a mouse. The appearance is in a metal case. The screen is good, decent IPS. After 10-12 hours of work, the eyes are not tired. The battery lasts for 3 hours under heavy use: 100,500 tabs, music at 70%, maximum brightness. Most of the time, the laptop doesn't turn on the cooling system. Temperatures are around 44, and the room is 28. Sound of the cooling system. When the charger is connected and the battery is fully charged, there is a very, very quiet crackling and squeaking. Many might not even hear it. I can't say yet if it's a defect or normal. I listened to other laptops in the office, many have similar sounds, more or less. Maybe it's just me. The touchpad surface is a bit sticky, and the finger doesn't glide over it perfectly smoothly, but rather in small jerks. At a certain angle of the laptop keyboard to your eyes, the backlight shines through the gaps and "hits" the eyes. |
Case, keyboard, touchpad, performance (AutoCAD, heavy PDFs, tanks on low, indie games), battery life. Screen brightness, the letters on the keyboard are hard to see on the light-colored body, the backlight matches the body tone - it doesn't help either. Whining noise of the cooling system under load. |
