I work in the city council department responsible for preschool, secondary and extracurricular education in our city. And our city is not small, more than a million residents. We have a sea of purely paperwork. Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports... remember, about 20 years ago, when computers were just entering our lives, there was an opinion that, thanks to them, paperwork would be replaced by electronic. But, oddly enough, the opposite happened. Thanks to printers, it has become incredibly easy to generate papers and now, along with an electronic copy of a report, memo, office note, etc., a mandatory paper copy is required. When we throw numerous wrappers from standard 500-sheet packs of office paper into the trash bins, I feel uneasy. Only printers like this newcomer can handle such volumes. This is truly the most productive laser printer I have ever seen. In standard quality, at 600 dpi and single-sided printing, it produces approximately 35 pages per minute. I timed it myself on a 155-page document, I was very curious. The next important advantage is the built-in duplex printing, a very useful thing in our paper industry. The dimensions for such impressive productivity are very compact. It can work with thick paper, up to 180 g/m2. It is not noisy. The cartridge included is not a dummy starter, but a full-fledged one, for 3100 sheets. For such a high-speed model, the main cassette tray for only 250 sheets is frankly not enough. A full tray, that is, about 200-220 sheets, flies away in six minutes of continuous printing. I don’t even want to talk about the 150-sheet receiving tray, it is not designed even for five minutes of dense work. The complete cartridge for 3100 sheets is killed in about a week. You will need to ask for money to buy a high-capacity cartridge, it already has a resource for 9000 sheets, but it costs more than half the printer, namely 5300 UAH. |
