Comfortable True Wireless in-ear headphones that give the wearer complete freedom of movement. It is positioned as a high-end product aimed at users who want a lightweight, comfortable in-ear and high-quality sounding model. The absence of wires favorably distinguishes this model from wireless headphones “on a cable” and allows you to use only one “ear” if necessary. One multifunctional button provides full control over the playback of tracks and calls, and the built-in sensitive microphone allows you to communicate with cellular subscribers in Bluetooth headset mode.
IPX5 water resistance allows you not to be afraid of rain and not to pay attention to the effect of sweat. JBL Free X wireless in-ear headphones are equipped with small-sized drivers with a diameter of 5.6 mm. According to the manufacturer, they provide full-fledged reproduction of an extended frequency range from 10 Hz to 22 kHz and give the same legendary JBL sound with transparent “highs” and powerful assertive bass. This model is well suited for listening to popular, electronic dance music and handles with hip-hop compositions. The built-in battery is enough for 4 hours of sound, and recharging from the included charging case extends the total battery life up to 20 hours. Fast mode is supported — 15 minutes of charging guarantees up to 1 hour of sound.

Freedom from wires
JBL Free X are the ideological continuation of the company's first TW headphones — JBL Free. Outwardly, these are typical wireless earplugs with silicone ear tips, which practically do not differ from their predecessor: black matte plastic, silver brand logo, and around it a two-colour LED ring that signals connection and battery charge. Along with silicone ear tips, the kit also comes with comfortable silicone tips on the case, which provide an even tighter fit to the ear. The body of each "snail" is also protected according to the IPX5 standard.
Oh sport, you are the world!
Ergonomics hasn't changed too much, since mechanical buttons seem to be a better option than touch panels during sports. Each JBL Free X earphone has one mechanical button: the left one switches tracks, the right one can pause music, resume playback, answer calls and activate the voice assistant. It turned out as simple and clear as possible, it is especially convenient during training. But what I didn’t like was the division of the headphones into master and slave. Because of this, the voice of the interlocutor during a conversation is displayed only in one ear. The microphone is also one, so there is no noise reduction. In general, they do not really cope with the role of a headset. But battery life is slightly higher than the average temperature in the ward, the headphones hold the claimed 4 hours confidently. Well, the fit is excellent, they sit comfortably and securely in the ear.
JBL Signature Sound
They sound in the best traditions of JBL: the sound is warm and assertive, but slightly muffled and with an abundance of bass. JBL aimed primarily at young people who prefer electronic music or hip-hop, so the emphasis in sound is on low frequencies. But there are not enough high ones from time to time, so the equalizer here will definitely not be superfluous. When compared with the first JBL Free, the sound quality has improved markedly. If you look around, everything is ambiguous, because the market is already full of interesting Chinese headphones (for example, MIFO O5 and Xiaomi Haylou GT1), which sound no worse, but are much cheaper.
