The 2026 debut in JBL's universal Tune line is a mid-range over-ear closed-back headphone. They feature thoughtful ergonomics, including a foldable design and rotatable ear cups, with a lightweight of 161 grams, ensuring comfort even during extended use. Another key feature of the model is the dual connectivity — both wired (using a USB-C port and an included adapter cable to mini-Jack (3.5 mm)) and via Bluetooth v6.0.
The latest protocol reduces interference and sound delay, enhancing overall energy efficiency compared to earlier versions. The JBL Tune 680NC headphones are equipped with 32mm dynamic drivers, licensed for Hi-Res Audio, operating in an extended frequency range from 10 to 40000 Hz, while the signature Pure Bass function delivers richer, deeper bass. Another advantage is the adaptive noise-canceling system with Smart Ambient, allowing background sounds to be heard for safety or communication.
The dual microphone system with its own noise-canceling is designed to provide high-quality voice communication and excellent speech audibility for the listener. Additional features include voice assistant support and simultaneous pairing with two devices (Multipoint), quick charging (5 minutes for 5 hours of use), and strong autonomy. The 690 mAh battery can offer 50 to 78 hours of continuous music listening or up to 45 hours of talk time.
