Ergonomic over-ear wireless Bluetooth headphones with closed-back design offering high-quality sound, a foldable design, the option for wired connection, long battery life, and support for fast charging technology. Positioned as an upper mid-range product, targeted at demanding mobile users who frequently use headphones in environments with adverse acoustic backgrounds (public transport, busy city streets, noisy shopping centers, markets, etc.).
These are one of the top models of the popular JBL Tune series from 2023. They come in four different color options that will surely appeal to young people who use their personal style as a form of self-expression. Their durable design with a flexible headband and soft padding finished with delicate faux leather ensures a comfortable fit on the user's head. The broad circumaural ear cups do not exert excessive pressure on the ears, which is crucial for comfort during extended use. The JBL Tune 770NC headphones are primarily suited for users who enjoy JBL’s signature bass sound. Connection to a digital audio signal source is achieved through the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless interface, allowing connectivity at distances up to 10 meters.

JBL sound quality (powerful bass and clear sound), stable connection, unbreakable plastic, mobile app with equalizer after another, spare ear pads can always be bought. Normal design. They hold a charge for a long time. There is ANC, not the best, but it helps on the street. For $70 they have no competitors. There are some better ones, but they lose in sound quality. More suitable for outdoor use, as wearing them for 8 hours can be uncomfortable due to the headband pressing on the ears (to keep them from falling off), and the earpad size is just on the edge of fitting the ears (to avoid looking too bulky). The microphone is worse than in the Sony ULT, but not terribly so; it's just a bit [censored] in frequency, with the bass removed, sounding more "phone-like." Completely disabling ANC is only possible through the app; the button only switches modes. In ANC mode, there is slightly less bass. ANC is worse than in Anker. The cable is 2.5-3.5, they could have made it uniform. |
The JBL Tune 770NC headphones, released in summer 2023, combine the successful formula of previous models in the series. They surpass their predecessors in build quality, offer improved bass-heavy sound and are available for around €100, which is much more attractive than the €300-€400 price tag of similar headphones from Sony and Bose. JBL Tune 770NC are comfortable closed-back headphones with combined connectivity (Bluetooth 5.3 + minijack), impressive battery life of up to 70 hours without ANC, a simple but effective noise reduction system and fast charging.
Tune Series Design
The headphones retain the minimalistic and clean look of previous models such as the Tune 720BT and Tune 670, with a large JBL logo on the earcups. Available colors include black, white, purple and navy blue. The artificial leather ear pads, although small, are comfortable and are practically not felt on the head. The quality of the materials is average, there is a risk of rapid wear. The headphones fold and the earcups rotate, making them easy to store and transport.
Reliable wireless connection
JBL Tune 770NC supports simultaneous connection to two sources thanks to Multi-Point technology. The built-in noise reduction system, although called adaptive, sometimes misses low frequencies. However, the headphones are distinguished by a stable Bluetooth 5.3 signal, which confidently breaks through several walls. The headphones sound balanced, with moderate bass levels, which is an improvement over previous JBL models.

I tried on JBL - the sound is very transparent, vocals in songs are just right, the bass is powerful and doesn't overpower anything, everything sounds just as it should. You listen and enjoy the songs as if you have studio monitors. They sound even better with the cable. Sound-wise, 10/10.
