The model is positioned as a competitor to capsule solutions, only here ground coffee is used instead, which means the user can choose different types of beans and vary the taste and aroma of the drink more widely. At the same time, there is no built-in coffee grinder here, so the Jura ONO 15505 coffee machine should be used by the most demanding users in tandem with separate millstones.

The device also does not provide a cappuccino maker, by default two programs are available here - espresso and lungo (coffee), and additional settings are limited to adjusting the volume of the drink.
