It's time to redo the kitchen and along with the old kitchen furniture went with the old hood. There was enough money for a new kitchen, so they ordered it individually, using the services of a designer. She also recommended this manufacturer and its inclined hoods to us. The pictures in the laptop seemed attractive to me and my wife, and we included the cost of the hood in the total cost of the kitchen. But the reality turned out to be much more interesting than the photos on the screen. To begin with, it does not at all look like traditional domed and hinged structures. The sloping thick glass panel with a glass door looks more like some kind of futuristic slanted cabinet, and only the leg of the air duct reminds you that this is still a hood. Moreover, the hood of a new generation, with perimeter suction. This means that air is drawn in around the perimeter of the glass panel, thus covering the entire hob. It has a powerful, almost two hundred watt electric motor and a centrifugal fan of decent diameter, which at maximum speed (and there are only three of them) create hurricane thrust. Moreover, due to the extensive perimeter suction, this hurricane near the hood is not very felt, but if the kitchen doors are closed with the windows closed, then the draft in the opening is very noticeable. Separately, it is worth praising the touch control and the built-in electronic clock. No buttons, just touch surfaces that you turn on, adjust the speed, turn on the powerful halogen lights, and even set the timer. As it turned out later, the hood has nothing to do with Germany. This is a Polish-Chinese product. Certainly high-quality and functional, but in such circumstances, its price already seems not quite adequate. |
