The model is distinguished by its compactness when folded, which among other things, simplifies the transportation process. Thanks to the included mount, the product can be carried on the vehicle itself, and it is also easy to transport in a backpack or bag (with the weight just under 900 grams).

The Kryptonite Keeper 510 bike lock features segments made from hardened steel with 3 mm thick plates. Because of this, the brand's security rating is assessed at 5 out of a possible 10: this indicates moderate protection and allows the accessory to be confidently used with inexpensive bicycles (up to 500 euros). It is also worth highlighting the independent testing conducted: in tests by the British organization Sold Secure, the model received a Bronze certificate, confirming decent protection against amateur thieves.
