Multi-purpose 27" Full HD (16:9) thin bezel monitor with good colour reproduction and AMD FreeSync support. It is positioned as an affordable mid-range product in 2021, designed for home and office use. It features a large screen size (598x336 mm), a large pixel with a pitch of 0.311 mm and an effective semi-gloss anti-reflective coating. The screen is based on an eight-bit IPS-matrix (6-bit + FRC) with a resolution of 1920x1080 and W-LED backlight without unpleasant high-frequency flicker.
The main advantages of the LG 27MP500 monitor include affordable price, decent image quality and excellent energy efficiency (average power consumption up to 25.5 W, which is important in large offices). The IPS-matrix guarantees sufficient maximum brightness, good contrast, excellent viewing angles and good colour gamut. Moderate response time (5 ms GtG) allows you to play dynamic video without significant blurring and display gameplay without delay. Only digital connection of sources is supported (two HDMI 1.4 ports). It comes with an external power supply and a 1.5 m HDMI cable.
