One of the flagships of the UltraGear gaming line in 2024 is the 31.5-inch monitor from LG with support for 4K Ultra HD resolution. The model is positioned as a Dual-Mode solution, as it can operate in two modes—at a refresh rate of 240 Hz at 3840x2160 pixels, and at 480 Hz in Full HD. The features include a Unity Hexagon RGB backlight, a stereo system with a pair of 7-watt speakers supported by DTS Virtual:X, a USB hub with two ports for convenient peripheral connectivity, as well as an ergonomic stand.
The stand allows for maximum freedom in adjusting the display's position, including tilt, swivel, height adjustment, and portrait mode. The LG UltraGear 32GS95UV monitor is equipped with a 10-bit OLED panel and anti-glare coating. The organic LEDs ensure excellent static contrast, high-quality color reproduction with 98.5% DCI P3 color coverage, and respectable brightness levels from 275 to 1300 nits (peak), meeting the DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard.
Gamers are offered not only a high refresh rate but also a fast response time of 0.03 ms from gray to gray, support for synchronization technologies (FreeSync Premium Pro from AMD + compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync), and specialized gaming options. Among these, the Black Stabilizer enhancement, practical On-Screen Control menu, and FPS counter stand out. Other features include improved protection against panel burn-in, which is further confirmed by a 2-year official warranty.
