The representative of the Land series of the Luminox brand is the heir to the field watch, which is in demand among the military. From them, the Luminox 1901 received an additional 24-hour scale, a practical leather strap and informative dial illumination. Moreover, not a traditional luminescent coating is used here, but more progressive tritium cones located on the hour markers and two hands (hour and minute). This backlight is brighter, does not require recharge from a light source and lasts up to 20-25 years.

The watch is quite large: 44 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick, which is not typical of classic field models. They have acquired a reliable sapphire crystal and a 316L stainless steel case: they are not afraid of scratches, dust, or water. The watch is equipped with a 3-hand mechanical caliber SW220-1 HH5. This is a Swiss Made movement from Sellita with automatic winding and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. The caliber boasts 26 jewels that are more resistant to wear than conventional bearings. Also, this “mechanics” is characterized by an increased frequency of semi-oscillations (28,800K per hour), which contributes to an increase in accuracy.

In addition to demonstrating the time, the watch can replace the calendar, suggesting the day of the week and the date of the month: a rectangular window with this information is located next to the “troika”.
