Symmetrical directional tread design

Unlike its predecessor, the Matador MP 92 Sibir Snow, the new tire uses a symmetrical directional tread instead of pronounced asymmetry. The V-shaped arrangement of the blocks in the central part creates many additional gripping edges, and the diagonal hydroevacuation grooves ensure rapid removal of water and melted snow from the tire contact patch.

Abundant lamellation

The tire's traction characteristics on snow are enhanced by wavy sipes in the tread blocks, which help maintain the necessary rigidity and bite into the slippery road with sharp edges. The pressure is evenly distributed over the entire contact patch, which reduces rolling resistance, prevents uneven tread wear, and improves ride smoothness and acoustic comfort.

Rubber formula

The rubber compound of the tire contains an increased amount of silica and functional elastomers, which allows the Matador MP 93 Nordicca to maintain elasticity even in severe frosts. In addition, the tire does not have significant drawbacks, which allows it to confidently occupy one of the leading positions in the budget segment of winter friction tires.
