The tyres feature a central stripe which has a balanced mixture of silica and carbon-black to enhance high-speed stability, heat dispersal and to also provide balance between abrasion resistance and grip. There is also a full-silica compound used in the shoulder, which when combined with the tread groove design, delivers excellent grip also on low friction surfaces.
