The MSI Prestige 14 Evo B13M is an elegant Ultrabook on the Intel Evo platform, which is ideal for entrepreneurs and creative industry workers who value mobility combined with high performance. The aluminum case is well assembled, and the compact dimensions (314x228x18 mm, 1.49 kg) make life easier for those who spend a lot of time on the road. Impressive battery life (16-17 hours) and fast charging allow you to work on the road without worrying about the availability of an outlet.
14-core Intel Core i7-13700H processor
The notebook is equipped with a 14-core Intel Core i7-13700H processor and demonstrates excellent performance indicators, although in some situations its capabilities may be a little limited compared to previous models. The integrated 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics provide stable operation in multitasking and when working with multimedia content. The only drawback is the presence of only one slot for RAM and SSD, which does not allow you to increase the memory capacity if necessary.
Advanced equipment and a mediocre display
Otherwise, the laptop offers what you’d expect from the Intel Evo platform, including modern ports (HDMI 2.1, USB4), Thunderbolt support, a high-end 1080p webcam, Face ID, a fingerprint scanner, quality speakers, and Power Delivery support (100W PSU), as well as wireless support for Wi-Fi 6E. The IPS display, however, falls a bit short compared to the other specs. It’s not bad, but many competitors have introduced SuperRetina, PixelSense, and OLED displays this year, while the MSI sticks with 1080p, 60Hz, and 100% sRGB coverage.
