The series of advanced gaming laptops MSI Vector A16 HX A8WHG is based on the AMD platform. The Taiwanese company announced the lineup at the end of 2025, although the base chosen for it was the Dragon Range processor family (2023), which allowed for a reduction in cost. The favorites are the Ryzen 7 8840HX (12 cores) and Ryzen 9 8940HX (16 cores) with fairly high heat emission, so the manufacturer had to consider a cooling system.

The result is a large and heavy body weighing 2.7 kg with the familiar MSI structure and design. The rest of the hardware is represented by DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 5200 MHz (16 or 32 GB), a 1 TB M.2 SSD with NVMe technology, and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with support for real-time data processing intelligence. Overall, the series is designed for Full HD+ gaming, allowing you to choose your desired settings preset, and quickly handles any secondary tasks (video editing, design projects, 3D modeling).

All modifications are equipped with a complete set of tools for effective use at home and on the go. The 90 Wh battery provides backup power during power outages and quickly restores charge when needed. The keyboard with dedicated gaming keys is complemented by stylish RGB lighting with MSI Mystic Light Sync effects for 24 separate zones. The camera has a built-in face scanner for owner identification.

Consistently high traffic rates are ensured by a wired LAN port with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps, as well as wireless Wi-Fi 6E. Among others, there are basic connectors, a card reader, and a more advanced Thunderbolt 4 with the possibility of alternative device connections. Please note the absence of HDMI.
