Nokia C2-00 is one of the first Nokia phones with dual SIM support. Being a low-cost model, the C2-00 is the most advanced dual SIM phone from the Finnish manufacturer at the time of release.

The device is made in the monoblock form factor, the material is plastic. Externally, the phone is almost identical to Nokia C1-01, the main difference is in colour solutions. The keyboard has a classic layout for Nokia — above the numeric keys there is a five-way joystick, two function buttons and answer and end call buttons. The numeric keys are not separated by width, which can cause some inconvenience when touch typing.

From external connectors, a standard 3.5 mm output, a USB port and a separate input for a 2 mm charger are provided. The main SIM card is located under the battery, and on the side of the phone there is a slot for a second SIM card. Thus, you can change the card without turning off the phone — "hot" replacement is provided, including software. The phone also supports memory cards up to 32 GB.

The phone's display is quite large for its class, with a resolution of 128x160 and a diagonal of 1.8'', colour. The colours fade in the sun, but in general the information remains readable.

The software part of the C2-00 is based on the classic Series 40 platform. In addition to the standard functions, the user has access to OVI Life Tools (weather forecasts, news, horoscopes, interesting facts, etc.).

DualSIM capabilities of the phone allow you to use both SIM cards simultaneously in standby mode — at this time they are both "online", you do not need to switch between them to receive a call. For other cases, it is possible to quickly switch using the “*” (“asterisk”) key. The external location of the secondary SIM slot mentioned above allows you to use more than two numbers with your phone, changing the corresponding cards as needed.

Data transfer functions are standard: GPRS and Bluetooth module. There is a built-in HTML browser.

Of the multimedia features, a standard player and an FM tuner with the ability to record from the air are provided.

The phone's camera has the minimum characteristics corresponding to the low-cost class of the device: 0.3 megapixels, without flash and autofocus.

The stock Nokia C2-00 battery has a capacity of 1020 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 4 hours of talk time and 396 hours (16.5 days) of standby time.

The phone is available in five colours: Dynamic Grey, Jet Black, Magenta, Dark Blue and Snow White. The package includes a battery, charger, wired stereo headset and user manual.
