the phone did not exceed expectations, I would rather advise purchasing the e71, it is better
27 November 2010
i didn’t really like the phone, the E71 is still better and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
easy to use
compared to the e71, which has a 3.2 megapixel camera, the pictures on the e72 are worse! I’m not saying this approximately, but quite definitely, because I compared these models while holding both in my hands! the touch button is not fully functional (it doesn’t always work, which makes it annoying), the speaker is quiet (the e71 has a much louder sound), the camera does not have autofocus
Verause Nokia E72 few months
i wouldn't buy it))

That's it!!
I bought a phone (E72 from Finland) a month ago – in December 2010 (Citrus discount, damn)

«+»:

1. Looks very beautiful externally.
2. A cool blinking button – always saves me by notifying about missed calls.
3. Good battery (I set it to power-saving mode – it lasted a week!!)
1. Holding the phone in your left hand and no one can hear you - that's the microphone placement for you...
2. Unbelievably slow thinker!!! This even shows up when working with contacts, calendar, internet, etc. (and this is despite not having installed any additional programs on it at all)
3. With even slight moisture (for example, phone in your pocket, winter, snow, and the pocket naturally closed), the microphone stops working (!!!), but it "comes back" in a warm environment after 20 minutes)) – you check and there are already 7 missed calls...
4. The speaker/ringtone volume – super low, and the vibration too – outside, you neither hear nor feel it!!!! Even when in a store((( the phone – CAN'T BE HEARD
5. It switched to silent mode by itself several times, no vibration as well – result – more missed calls.
6. Uncomfortable keyboard. (compared to BlackBerry)

G....., G..... AND AGAIN G....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18 December 2012
If you are looking for a problem instead of a mobile phone, then the Nokia E72 mobile phone is your choice. For the past 8 years, I have been using exclusively Nokia phones. I considered them the best phones. But apparently, as the hero from the film "The Very Same Munchhausen" says, "...Wine turns into vinegar, and Munchhausen into Theophilos...", Nokia has turned into G....!!!! I am surprised by the number of positive reviews about this model, I don’t think that so many people can overlook all the "benefits of this phone." I am not an active user of the internet, various blogs, let alone, God forbid, social networks. And this monologue of mine is simply the result of the frustration over the last 11 months of using this phone model. I will retype my story about the phone on all the review sites I can find and will bash this phone model. So here it is:
I bought this phone because I had been looking to replace my previous model for a long time. Unfortunately, mobile phones that look more or less decent and can simply make calls, while being reliable, in the price range from 10 to 60 thousand rubles, are not available (I must say, various smartphones, iPhones, gadgets, madgets were not needed for me, just CONNECTION, STABLE CONNECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The only advantage is a more or less decent appearance, as well as a metal case and a case included.
Next, the functionality of G...:
1. The buttons are small and inconvenient, you constantly press NOT WHAT you need.
2. The keyboard remains a mystery to me to this day (I mean the purpose of some buttons).
3. The volume control buttons on the side of the case press themselves when placed on the stand from the slightest touch of the holder that comes with it (the question is, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY PACKED THE PHONE, ANSWER - WITH THEIR ASS).
4. Disassembling the phone and inserting the SIM card is also inconvenient. I won't elaborate; those who want to understand will.
5. The JOYSTICK or control button on the central panel is just an "engineering masterpiece" by Nokia. It seems to be designed to be almost contactless and responds to any touch, so as soon as you start using the phone for its intended purpose, i.e., surprisingly, to make calls (to the surprise of the aforementioned Nokia engineers, you probably didn't think the E 72 would be used for calls, otherwise, how to explain the origin of this mutant), you immediately start touching this button with your ear or cheek, and the menu starts scrolling on its own, volume level changes, etc. Here keep the E72 at a 45-degree angle is rule #1.
6. It's already mentioned that the phone constantly glitches and freezes. It might just stubbornly refuse to make calls unless you completely turn it off.
7. The phone doesn't disconnect from the current internet connection; if you disconnect, it reconnects again in a couple of minutes.

Frame:
  • The phone has not undergone cardinal changes in the case design. He remained as strict and business-like as in the E71 predecessor. The body itself is roughly equal parts metal and plastic.
  • On the front side is a 2.34-inch display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Closer to the top end there is a speaker hole, to the right of it there is a light sensor and a camera for video telephony.
  • Under the display is a block of control keys and a full QWERTY-keyboard. In addition to the usual soft keys and call accept/end call buttons, here you can see four additional buttons — a quick call to the calendar, phone book, e-mail and access to the main menu. These keys also recognize short and long presses. The central 5-way button has a built-in touchpad for easier menu navigation. All keys are backlit in white.
  • There are only three keys on the right side. Two are responsible for volume control, and the third is for quick access to voice functions.
  • On the left side in the upper part there is a microUSB connector for connecting to a computer and a slot for microSD memory cards. Both are hidden under plastic plugs.
  • The upper end contained only the power button of the device and a mini-Jack connector for connecting headphones
  • At the bottom there is only a socket for connecting a charger and an eyelet for a strap in the left corner
  • Most of the back side is occupied by the battery cover, the short one is made of stainless steel with the signature pattern of the entire E-series. A little higher is a 5-megapixel camera module with autofocus and LED flash. The module itself is slightly raised above the body. To the left of it, you can see the opening of the external speaker, which is protected by a metal grill.
