I recommend it. Worth the money

When it became necessary to replace my old mercury thermometer with a new one, it turned out that mercury ones are already banned and removed from sale. So the alternative is either mercury-free or electronic. We decided to overpay a little and take an electronic one from the proven Omron company, which is known for its good tonometers. The main mistake people make is that no one likes to read instructions, and they give answers to all questions))) Many people measure with an electronic thermometer under the armpit until the signal and sweep it away, but the instructions say that the minimum measurement time is 2 minutes, and for a more accurate result you still need to keep it for 5-10 minutes. In general, the thermometer allows you to take measurements axillary (under the armpit), orally (in the oral cavity) and rectally (in the anus). The latter method is considered the most accurate, but specific. It should also be taken into account that the normal temperature for different measurement methods is different and the norm of 36.6 is valid only for the axillary. The thermometer is powered by a single LR41 battery, which lasts a very long time. There is another interesting point. The thermometer goes through a self-test function when turned on in order to improve the measurement results.
