A simple and compact modification of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 video card from Palit with a shortened circuit board and a massive single fan. Belongs to the middle price segment, is part of the specialized series of miniature GPU StormX. Compared to the more powerful Firestorm and Trinity models, which aim to maximize FPS in games, the Solo model focuses on quiet and efficient operation.

It is also suitable for installation inside a compact case that does not fit a standard video card with two or three fans. The length of the RTX 4060 in the Solo version is only 170 mm versus the reference 240 mm. What is especially interesting is that the manufacturer did not squeeze all the juice out of the video chip, leaving purely symbolic overclocking, so a single turntable maintains almost the same operating temperature as its dual-cooled counterparts.

Otherwise, the Palit GeForce RTX 4060 StormX has all the advantages of NVIDIA Ampere and Ada Lovelace video cards, including the DLSS artificial scaling system, ray tracing and things useful for work and streaming like NVIDIA Broadcast and NVIDIA Studio. The NVIDIA AD 107 GPU is equipped with 3072 CUDA cores and runs at a clock speed of 2460 MHz. Memory capacity is limited to 8 GB.

The operating frequency of the memory is 17000 MHz. Overall, the RTX 4060 demonstrates excellent performance in most modern AAA games from 2020-2023. Elder Ring, GOW Ragnarok, Baldur's Gate 3, A Plague Tale: Requiem and other blockbusters of recent years with beautiful graphics manage to reach an average of around 80 frames per second (Full HD + high graphic settings).
