Palit GeForce RTX 3050 StormX 6GB is a miniature modification of the budget GeForce RTX 3050 video card with a reduced cooling system and a 6 GB memory buffer. It belongs to the middle entry-level segment and is part of the StormX line of miniature video cards, for which Palit engineers select mainly inexpensive and not very powerful NVIDIA video accelerators with modest power consumption and heat dissipation.

Palit GeForce RTX 3050 StormX 6GB is built on the Ampere series graphics chip (8 nm, 2304 stream processors, 1492 MHz frequency), which is most suitable for not too demanding online games and AAA blockbusters in 1080p resolution with mixed graphics settings. It is also equipped with separate cores for hardware ray tracing, but the power density of the chip does not allow it to provide realistic lighting without a serious performance hit.
