The Palit GeForce RTX 4070 Dual is a compact yet powerful upper mid-range graphics card built on NVIDIA's new Ada Lovelace architecture. The new star of the GeForce RTX 4000 series
At the beginning of 2020, NVIDIA introduced the innovative generation of RTX 30XX Ampere video cards, offering ray tracing and DLSS 2.0 technologies for the first time. Two years later, the company pleased the market with the release of the GeForce RTX 4070, which instantly became the sales leader in the RTX 40XX series. This model, despite its more affordable price compared to the GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, also supports hardware ray tracing and the innovation of DLSS 3.0 for frame generation.
Compact and efficient
Palit GeForce RTX 4070 Dual is distinguished by its compactness among its analogues. The PCB is only 27 cm long and occupies two slots on the motherboard, making it easy to install in tight spaces or for replacement in already crowded systems. Two active fans and a large aluminium heatsink with five heat pipes provide efficient cooling, while an additional copper plate on the back of the card adds rigidity and protection. The model consumes only 200 W, which makes it possible to use a 600 W power supply, although the manufacturer recommends 750 W for reliability.
High-performance graphics card at an attractive price
Considering the price/performance ratio, the GeForce RTX 4070 is one of the most attractive offerings on the market. The more expensive RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 models are offered at significantly higher prices, while the slightly more powerful RTX 4070 Ti costs almost one and a half times more.
