Pedrollo Top Vortex has a centrifugal design. It can pump polluted water with particles whose size does not exceed 25mm. Therefore, this pump can be used for draining flooded basements and cellars, pumping water from ponds and pools, as well as solving a variety of tasks related to watering and irrigation. It is also often placed in septic tanks to pump out dirty water that collects on top of settled domestic sewage.

Maximum reliability

Pedrollo submersible pumps generally have an excellent reputation. And this device stands out among them thanks to technical solutions that guarantee reliability and a long service life. Its 370-watt motor is capable of operating in S1 mode — that is, without stopping (provided that the pump is immersed in a liquid that cools the engine). Thermal protection is provided (when the motor overheats, automatics turn off the power). High-quality plastic housing, technopolymer impeller and stainless steel drive shaft resist corrosion. The tightness of the structure is ensured by a double mechanical seal with an intermediate oil chamber. The body and “innards” tolerate scalding with boiling water without damage (the pump can work briefly in liquids with temperatures up to 90 °C). Almost the only drawback noticed is the short cable (5 m), which sometimes has to be lengthened if the equipment is placed far from the outlet.

Made in Italy

It is important to note that all types of Pedrollo pumping equipment are produced only in Italy (without the participation of Chinese contractors, with whom many other manufacturers cooperate). Therefore, you will not find pumps of this brand among low-cost models. But you can't call them expensive either.
