The Peltor ProTac III active headphone system consists of microphones built into the ear cups and a digital processor that processes and filters the received signals, amplifying quiet sounds to a comfortable level.

Therefore, the user, without removing the protection from his head, can hear the voices of his interlocutors, commands in the shooting range and navigate the surrounding environment. The volume is adjusted using large buttons on the right earcup. Via the AUX input, you can connect an external sound source (player, walkie-talkie or mobile phone) to the headphones. Power sources are two AA batteries (providing up to 100 hours of battery life with the active system turned on).
