The Philips 5000 Series multifunction air fryer belongs to the premium price segment, yet it’s an advanced model with rich equipment and extended capabilities. It features two separate baskets, letting you cook different dishes at the same time. The baskets are completely independent with individual settings, but you can sync the cooking time so both dishes finish together.

According to the manufacturer, the large 6 L basket fits a whole chicken up to 1.2 kg, while the smaller 3 L basket holds 1.1 kg of French fries, 1.6 kg of vegetables, or 12 chicken drumsticks. The non-stick coating prevents food from sticking and burning, and also makes cleaning easy. Both baskets are dishwasher-safe. First, RapidAir Plus ensures omnidirectional hot-air circulation with a higher airflow rate, so dishes cook evenly inside and out. Second, the air fryer features Air Steam and uses steam for cooking—either combined with the air fryer or on its own. As a result, dishes come out juicy and healthy with minimal calories. In addition, steam is used for self-cleaning—it easily removes food residue from the surface of the large basket and around the heating tube.
