144 Hz is only available in games when connected to a PC.
Advanced level television equipped with a 55-inch 4K screen with a native refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In a special gaming mode, the refresh rate increases to 144 Hz (using VRR technology). This value can be achieved by connecting video signal sources through an HDMI port version 2.0. In games, the AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive frame rate synchronization technology will also come in handy, eliminating screen tearing and frame drops.
A distinctive feature of the Philips 55PUS8919 is the Ambilight intelligent background lighting system, which seems to extend the picture beyond the screen borders. Image processing on the TV panel is managed by a powerful Philips P5 Perfect Picture processor. Additionally, the model boasts high-quality sound from its built-in audio system consisting of four speakers with a total power of 40W. It supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, and DTS:X sound. The smart system for the TV is powered by the in-house Titan OS platform with convenient voice control.
