The era of ultra-high resolution did not reach Apple TV boxes until 2017, when a generation of media players called the non-trivial name Apple TV 4K saw the light of day.

In the set-top box, they regretted only connectors for connecting external devices, which are represented by a purely gigabit Ethernet port and HDMI version 2.0 interface.

The remote control for navigating through the friendly tvOS menu interface is almost exactly the same as the previous generation from the Apple TV 4th Generation. Externally, the updated version gives out only the edging around the “Menu” key, and a more accurate gyroscope is installed inside the remote control. Of course, it also could not do without the built-in touchpad and microphone, which is used for voice communication with the Siri assistant. The media player will be an excellent addition to 4K and HDR panels, remaining out of competition against the background of the vast majority of other solutions from the large army of set-top boxes.
