The Philips Avent range is designed primarily for baby food, although it can of course also be used for adult food if required. This is a universal model that allows you to cook a complete meal for your baby in just one dish. It combines the functions of a steamer and a blender, so you can use it from the very beginning of the introduction of complementary foods, that is, from about 6 months of age.

Thoroughly grind vegetables and fruits to a smooth consistency, or leave out the denser texture of meats and legumes to prepare baby food for any stage of weaning. The principle of operation of the device is quite simple: first steam the ingredients, retaining their texture, juices and nutrients, then simply turn the bowl over and grind the contents into a puree. In addition, Philips Avent SCF883/01 is also capable of defrosting and reheating food.

The time will be tracked by a timer for a maximum of 30 minutes, which will beep when the dish is ready. The jug holds a maximum of 1 liter of solid ingredients for steaming and up to 720 ml of liquids and contents for chopping. And this is from one to four servings - depending on how old the baby is and how much he eats. Leftover food can be stored in a 120 ml container - it is also included in the model package. Both bowl and knife are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. In addition, along with the steamer blender and container, you will receive a spatula and a booklet with recipes and useful tips for introducing complementary foods.
