Stylish, modern and powerful iron with a steam generator, presented on the market as part of the advanced PerfectCare Elite line from the Philips brand. Despite the fact that this is one of the most performant devices in the series, the iron is quite light and comfortable even for vertical ironing. The pump pressure of 7.5 bar delivers a very powerful steam boost of up to 500 g/min to tackle even the toughest creases and make ironing as fast and efficient as possible.
The Philips GC 9650 is equipped with a 1.8L water tank, allowing you to iron for long periods of time without having to refill water. The steam generator has an ECO function that, if necessary, reduces the amount of steam supplied to the fabric, thereby saving energy consumption. The OptimalTEMP function eliminates the need to manually adjust the temperature: the technique automatically adjusts to the required type of tissue, which reduces the risk of damage to it.
It also allows you to leave the iron on the cotton cover of the ironing board without fear of burning it — this way you relieve your wrists from constant stress by constantly removing and returning the iron back to the stand. But if the iron is idle for more than 30 seconds, then it turns off “on its own”. Self-cleaning from dirt and dirt is provided by the Easy De-calc Plus system, safe carrying is the innovative Carry Lock, preventing touching the hot sole.

I bought this model 4 years ago. He worked and worked. There are no admirations. Cleaned it as required. After 2 years, dirt began to periodically fly out of it and spoil light-colored things. Today it produces water instead of steam. The steam generator hardly works. I'm going to change it. Because Chinese equipment can be repaired forever. But the Philips company is not doing well, collecting 35 thousand every 4 years. Ironing is more convenient than with a regular iron.
