The Philips GC 9650 is equipped with a 1.8L water tank, allowing you to iron for long periods of time without having to refill water. The steam generator has an ECO function that, if necessary, reduces the amount of steam supplied to the fabric, thereby saving energy consumption. The OptimalTEMP function eliminates the need to manually adjust the temperature: the technique automatically adjusts to the required type of tissue, which reduces the risk of damage to it.

It also allows you to leave the iron on the cotton cover of the ironing board without fear of burning it — this way you relieve your wrists from constant stress by constantly removing and returning the iron back to the stand. But if the iron is idle for more than 30 seconds, then it turns off “on its own”.
