Touch control, long-lasting charge, charging from a regular USB-C cable, multiple operating modes Why didn't you buy it earlier? |
Needed a lamp that would work during power outages. Design: the lamp looks modern, neat, and doesn't "hang" in plain sight like a cheap fixture. Touch control on the body — convenient and elegant, no need to fiddle with buttons or switches, just touch it — and done. Switching brightness modes, choosing the light temperature — from warm yellow to cool white — helps you set the light just the way you like it. What I liked even more is the duration of operation. The lamp truly "lasts" long: For night reading or evening work, this is a big plus: you don’t have to keep an eye on it every hour so it doesn’t turn off, you can calmly work or read for several hours straight. The light is even, without excessive shadows, doesn’t "hurt" the eyes — whether you want it bright or soft — settings allow it. The body’s tilt angle is sufficient, so you can direct the light exactly where needed, without blinding yourself or anyone nearby. If there’s anything to fault — it’s that the lamp isn’t "smart": there’s no built-in light sensor or automatic adjustment depending on the time of day. Not that it’s a must-have, but it would be nice, although such a system might reduce autonomy. By the way, I understand there are different versions of these lamps, this one states 1000mA, while mine is 3000mA (perhaps a different version, or for another market, I don’t think Philips was lying when writing 3000 instead of 1000 on the box). Beautiful design, convenient settings, touch control, type-c connection Some confusion with the 1000 or 3000 battery versions |

The touch control is simple and intuitive: you can turn it on, change the brightness, or adjust the light temperature with just one touch. There are several lighting modes, so it's easy to choose the right light for work, reading, or just an evening time.
Overall, it's a neat, thoughtfully designed lamp without unnecessary complications that simply does its job well and looks tidy on the desk.
