My girlfriend dragged me into hiking trips. I won’t say that I was a homebody, but the many-day hiking trips somehow didn’t particularly appeal to me. As it turned out, this is a great way to have a good time, because it's all about the company in which you do it. So I met wonderful people who soon became my like-minded people. Of course, tourism is not only beautiful landscapes and a cheerful company. It is also physical activity and a difficult camping life. It was to solve a domestic issue for the two of us that I bought this wonderful tent. The tent is excellently ventilated. I hate stuffiness, so the question of good ventilation and the absence of condensation was one of the most important for me. Two ventilation windows in the outer flysheet and two entrances with quality mosquito nets allow for quick air renewal and removal of excess moisture. Additionally, the two-layer construction of the tent is very helpful in combating condensation. The inner layer of fabric is made from "breathable" polymer fabric and allows a significant amount of water vapor to escape. The outer layer is made of dense woven polyester and treated with silicone. Therefore, the tent is not afraid of rain, even if it's a storm with wind. Inside, it is very cozy, with several pockets on the walls, a loop for an LED lamp, and a hanging shelf under the dome. The sleeping area is more than sufficient for two people. I must note that the decision to choose a three-person tent instead of a two-person one was the right one. You have to pay for spaciousness and comfort with a considerable weight. 4.7 kg is not much, but it's a significant part of the total load you have to carry. There's no "skirt," so in strong winds, you feel a chill coming through. |
The tent is large and roomy. It is made quite well - all seams are taped, and the kit includes a mosquito net. Double-layer, holds heat well. Looks great. It weighs no more than five kilograms, which means when folded you won’t feel its weight at all. My only concern is the fiberglass poles. It’s just that there are already unpleasant moments associated with them - in my previous tent they simply cracked and fell apart. But these two tents are simply not worth comparing, it’s like heaven and earth, and so far I haven’t had a single question regarding the quality of the Pinguin Taifun 3. So, I like everything so far. I see no drawbacks. use Pinguin Taifun 3 month or more i recommend it should buy |
