Camping Residence
The Pinguin model belongs to the advanced class and truly deserves the title of a camping residence for three. The key lies in its noticeably increased inner space. The dome construction in the shape of a hemisphere provides a height of up to 2 meters in the vestibule and up to 1.85 meters in the sleeping area. This allows most users to stand inside at full height, adding convenience during long stays or bad weather.
The Pinguin Nimbus 3 has a spacious bedroom measuring 210x220 cm, providing true comfort for three people. The spacious vestibule, which is almost equal to the sleeping area in size, deserves special mention: its length is 210 cm, and the area reaches approximately 4.5 sq. m. It includes its own floor, two entrances, and several viewing windows. Additionally, the covered space is expanded by an awning that protects from the sun and precipitation.
Durability and Water Protection
Due to its impressive size, setting up the tent may not be the easiest task, so it's best assembled by two people. The reliability of the structure is ensured by durable fiberglass poles with a diameter of 11 mm, and the awning uses 13 mm poles. Additional wind resistance is provided by five points of intersection for the poles and a system of tensioners. The outer polyester tent has a water resistance of 4000 mm water column, and the floor is even more protected at the level of 10000 mm, so even strong and prolonged rainfall should not be a problem.
The downsides include the considerable weight of 14.7 kg and large packed dimensions of 65x27x27 cm. However, for car trips, this is unlikely to be a significant drawback. The model cannot be called affordable in price either. But if you need a camping tent where you can stand at full height, the Pinguin Nimbus 3 truly has plenty of strengths.
