Pirelli P Zero 275/40R20 106Y XL 1791600

Delivering superior sporting performance for every vehicle, we recommend the Pirelli P Zero as a summer tyre for drivers looking to experience excellent control and handling in both wet and dry conditions, improved braking performance, and lower cabin noise levels. A trio of wide longitudinal grooves evacuates water at a faster pace, offering... moreadditional control and safety measures in wet conditions with potential aquaplaning. Model overview based on user reviews
The Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico tires offer excellent performance on both wet and dry asphalt, with strong handling in turns and a robust sidewall. However, they are noted to be noisy and have a tendency to wear out quickly, which affects their grip quality over time. Initially, the tires provide impressive grip and handling, making them suitable for a relaxed city drive. After driving approximately 20,000 kilometers, the reliability of these tires is not as consistent as when they were new. Overall, they present a mix of advantages and drawbacks.
Pros

Cons

Not bad tires with their own pros and cons.
10 February 2011
I've driven about 20 thousand kilometers on it, and its reliability is not as consistent as it was after purchase. When the tires are new, their characteristics are impressive in a good way. The grip is excellent, and the handling is also without any complaints, regardless of whether it's dry or rainy outside. These tires are more suitable for a relaxed city drive.
On wet asphalt as well as on dry, it performs excellently, and it handles turns well regardless of weather conditions. Strong sidewall.
Noisy, not clear why it wears out so quickly. Loses grip quality when worn.

From the press release:

PZero Rosso is the company's latest development in the field of ultra-low profile tyres. "Rosso" means "red" in Italian. Red has always symbolized a passion for speed and fast cars. In the 70s, Pirelli was the first in the world to develop the concept of low profile tyres, and since then Pirelli has held the leadership in this segment. Tyres of the new generation of ultra-low profile tyres are PZero Rosso tyres. Thanks to the innovations made in the structure of the tyre, in the composition of the rubber compound, as well as in the tread pattern, an perfect combination of excellent performance, comfort and quietness has been achieved. The tread pattern provides high hydroplaning protection, reliable handling on dry and wet road surfaces, driving confidence and comfort. The low rolling resistance was achieved by using combinations of the lightest materials in their structure, as well as a high content of silicon dioxide in the rubber compound. The asymmetric tread pattern is divided into three parts and consists of rounded blocks, four annular grooves and a wide shoulder area. The tyre can be fully trusted on both dry and wet road surfaces.
