Strength and a modest weight (3.1 kg) is ensured by the use of an extremely light, high-alloy aluminium alloy, from which most of the structural elements, including the deck, are made. Some of the most heavily loaded units are made of structural steel. The Qplay Honeycomb scooter is well suited for use in urban areas, it does not take up much space when stored and can be easily folded in a couple of movements.

For children of different heights, the handlebar can be adjusted in height using a securely locking connection. Polyurethane wheels with a diameter of 120 mm provide good grip, smooth out small bumps and provide a decent roll. Durable ABEC 7 bearings withstand shock loads with ease. To control speed and stop quickly, the scooter is equipped with a rear brake, and the rear wing plays the role of a brake shoe. Tactilely comfortable ergonomic grips on the handlebars provide comfortable control and a good grip.
