The natural oils found in coffee beans that give the rich, intense flavour degrade quickly after the bean has been ground. Not a problem with The Sage Barista Express machine. A 250gr bean hopper with its integrated stainless steel conical burr grinder allows you to grind your own beans for optimum freshness. There are 18 grind settings available - from fine to coarse and you can adjust the dose to your individual taste (pre-ground coffee is also fine to use).The Sage Barista Express has a Thermacoil heating system which quickly heats the water stored in the removable 2L water tank. An even extraction is achieved thanks to a low pressure pre-infusion from the 15 bar pump.The Razor dosing tool and on-board tamper help you achieve the correct dosing for your shot (there's also a double filter basket if you need that extra hit of caffeine!)
