The screen is good. Just never enable the 1 ms mode, as it works in MPRT mode (meaning the screen simply flickers), and Flicker Free is disabled. This can be very harmful to your eyes. Otherwise, everything is fine in normal mode :) Quality Marketing with 1ms in MPRT mode, which excludes Flicker free |
Bought in October 2017, problems began in January 2020, right after the warranty ended. The monitor started turning off by itself. The service center said it was either the matrix (18,000 +2500 for labor), or the power supply unit (2-3,000). Read other reviews on the internet, some have the same problem, so think carefully. The monitor itself is good. I found it comfortable and enjoyable to play games and edit videos on it. It's a shame that it didn't last long without repairs, which cost half the price of the monitor. |
Excellent monitor! I’m happy with everything. I bought it specifically for multimedia, so I could watch movies, play games comfortably, and work! I spent a long time choosing, comparing, reading reviews, and watching videos. In the end, I was choosing between the Asus XG32VQ and Samsung C32HG70QQI, but after studying the specs and seeing that the panel was actually worse and that you overpay for a design that won’t suit everyone, plus I definitely wasn’t going to overpay for the logo, my final choice was Samsung. Unfortunately, it’s not perfect because of its stand, which takes up quite a lot of desk space, but after thoroughly researching the market, I realized there are no perfect monitors. Each has its pros and cons. In this case, the pros outweighed the cons. Besides, I didn’t consider TN panels at all on principle. And in this segment, I think this monitor is the best. I switched to it from a 23.5-inch monitor, and the wow effect is real! Of course, I also considered a 27-inch model, but decided that if I was buying one, I should get the flagship right away! I also looked at ultrawide models, but the aspect ratio put me off since I was choosing specifically for multimedia. If you have a small desk, you will most likely need to either buy a new desk or get a VESA 100x100 mount, which would be cheaper and more practical. My desk can handle such a monster! Though I’m also thinking of buying a gas-lift VESA mount soon. Should you buy it or not? That’s a good question. It all depends on your needs, taste, and budget. Personally, I made my choice, and I wish the same for you. Gaming features: 144 Hz and all that, HDR, 2560×1440 resolution, quantum dots. Good viewing angles. Realistic, rich, and vivid color, but of course after proper calibration. A really large screen size, which is convenient, plus a curved display that immerses you even more in the gaming world. Excellent build quality, the gaps are just right! I liked the design, and the backlight on the rear of the monitor is also pleasing. I did not notice any ghosting. Basically, there are none. A very high-quality product. Except for the stand, of course. This particular stand may put many people off buying it. use Samsung C32HG70 month or more i recommend it should buy |
Quantum dot technology and HDR
The 32-inch Quantum Dot curved monitor offers all the same benefits as Samsung's current QLED TVs. The screen has a high level of brightness (350 cd/m2) and static contrast ratio (3000:1), wide colour gamut, acceptable viewing angles. This provides a bright, rich and highly realistic picture regardless of the lighting conditions in the room.
Samsung C32HG70QQ supports not only QuadHD-resolution, but also HDR technology implemented in the model through flexible local backlight control. It is designed to improve colour reproduction and expand the range of shades when playing the corresponding content, including such modern computer games as Assassin's Creed Origins, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Far Cry 5.
Fast response and smooth picture
The monitor is equipped with a 10-bit VA-matrix, which, with a win in image quality, is practically not inferior to TN counterparts in terms of performance. The manufacturer claims a response time of 1ms (due to factory overclocking) and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. With support for second-generation AMD FreeSync synchronization technology, smooth video without artifacts is maintained even when playing HDR content.
Especially for gamers, the Black Equalizer function is provided, which allows you to adjust the appropriate brightness level for dark scenes, which often helps to spot the enemy earlier in shooters. For popular game genres (RPG, FPS, RTS), ready-made presets are offered in the settings menu. Also, three buttons on the monitor case can be tied to the necessary game modes for their quick selection.
Ergonomics
Samsung C32HG70QQ received three interfaces for image output: 2 HDMI and Display Port, there is also a USB hub and headphone output, a convenient joystick for image settings.
The monitor relies on a functional stand that allows you to adjust the screen position in height, tilt, swivel, and even change the orientation to portrait. But the stand is too bulky: on the table it needs almost 40 cm in depth, while for most 32-inch models this figure is at least 8-10 cm less. A compromise solution can be wall mounting, for which an adapter for VESA is provided in the package 100x100 mm.
Another disadvantage of the Samsung C32HG70QQ is the presence of high-frequency backlight flicker, despite the claimed Flicker-Free support, which can cause eye fatigue. Otherwise, the model is deservedly considered one of the best gaming solutions in terms of image quality.
