In addition, the monitor demonstrates a high maximum brightness (350 cd/m2), excellent static contrast ratio and excellent possible viewing angles (178°). Quantum dot technology and HDR
The 32-inch Quantum Dot curved monitor offers all the same benefits as Samsung's current QLED TVs. The screen has a high level of brightness (350 cd/m2) and static contrast ratio (3000:1), wide colour gamut, acceptable viewing angles. This provides a bright, rich and highly realistic picture regardless of the lighting conditions in the room.
Samsung C32HG70QQ supports not only QuadHD-resolution, but also HDR technology implemented in the model through flexible local backlight control. It is designed to improve colour reproduction and expand the range of shades when playing the corresponding content, including such modern computer games as Assassin's Creed Origins, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Far Cry 5.
Fast response and smooth picture
The monitor is equipped with a 10-bit VA-matrix, which, with a win in image quality, is practically not inferior to TN counterparts in terms of performance. The manufacturer claims a response time of 1ms (due to factory overclocking) and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. With support for second-generation AMD FreeSync synchronization technology, smooth video without artifacts is maintained even when playing HDR content.
Especially for gamers, the Black Equalizer function is provided, which allows you to adjust the appropriate brightness level for dark scenes, which often helps to spot the enemy earlier in shooters. For popular game genres (RPG, FPS, RTS), ready-made presets are offered in the settings menu. Also, three buttons on the monitor case can be tied to the necessary game modes for their quick selection.
Ergonomics
Samsung C32HG70QQ received three interfaces for image output: 2 HDMI and Display Port, there is also a USB hub and headphone output, a convenient joystick for image settings.
The monitor relies on a functional stand that allows you to adjust the screen position in height, tilt, swivel, and even change the orientation to portrait. But the stand is too bulky: on the table it needs almost 40 cm in depth, while for most 32-inch models this figure is at least 8-10 cm less. A compromise solution can be wall mounting, for which an adapter for VESA is provided in the package 100x100 mm.
Another disadvantage of the Samsung C32HG70QQ is the presence of high-frequency backlight flicker, despite the claimed Flicker-Free support, which can cause eye fatigue. Otherwise, the model is deservedly considered one of the best gaming solutions in terms of image quality.
