The curved display shape of this 2019 Samsung monitor enhances the user's involvement in what is happening, whether it's an exciting movie or hot gaming battles. The degree of curvature of the 26.9-inch Samsung C27R500 VA panel reaches 1800R. Translated into a more accessible language, its radius of curvature is 1.8 m. The screen of the device is characterized by a response time of 4 ms (when switching from grey to grey), a 60-Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness threshold of 300 cd/m², and a high static contrast ratio.
3000:1 and, importantly, the most comfortable viewing angles within 178° horizontally and vertically. In addition, AMD FreeSync technology "smoothes" the picture when the frame changes too fast in games or high-paced video scenes. The model is connected to video signal sources via VGA (analogue) and HDMI version 1.4 (digital) interface connectors. Their company has a 3.5mm headset jack. Bought in March 2020, I was interested in curved monitors because my brother has a cheaper 24" version, so I decided to get a bigger one. Generally, that's where the main issue lies. Full HD resolution isn't suitable for this size; 24" is the limit for it. If you sit far enough, everything looks fine and clear. But from a distance of 40-50 cm, you can still see the pixels. I didn't notice the severe backlight bleeding that "geeks" talk about. A good monitor for a reasonable price. Curved screen. Reasonable screen bezels. Build quality. The screen curvature doesn't interfere with working in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Full HD is definitely not for a 27" diagonal. The stand adjustment is tilt only.
